Another version represents Dom in a yellow field, creating an allusion to Ukrainian flag (blue sky & yellow field). Dom-Stadt stands for friendship and more than 10 000 Ukrainians came to Cologne with their families in the last 3 years and found their home here, integrating into European culture. Now Dom is discovering beautiful Ukraine and got lost in the vast and generous fields of that region. Ukraine is renown to be one of the main suppliers of wheat and other crops to Europe that are used to produce bread, flour, and other commodities. Postcard is a tribute to Cologne-Ukrainian friendship.
